Joint inflammation and arthritis

Joint inflammation is something more and more people are experiencing and are being treated for. 1 out of every 7 Americans has some arthritis or joint inflammation. That’s over 37 million people. Joint inflammation can be caused by an autoimmune disease, broken bone, “wear and tear”, and infection (bacteria or viruses). By far the most common joint inflammation is caused by “wear and tear.”

Often this “wear and tear” is blamed on repetitive stress and/or age. The problem with this is that neither is the actual cause just the scapegoat. Rick Mathes does a great job walking us through the real causes of arthritis and joint inflammation and why most of the common treatments only offer (in a best case scenario) temporary relief in a post from his blog “Ramblings from Hill Country.” I encourage you to read the post and let me and Rick know what you think.

Most forms of arthritis are chronic diseases, which means they will be with you for the rest of your life. They do not go away and cannot, at this time, be “cured” by a drug or treatment. Chronic diseases differ from acute diseases, such as pneumonia or the flu, which are resolved on their own or are cured by drugs.

Thanks for the comment. I agree that they will not go away with any drug or classical treatment for the symptom because treating the symptom doesn’t work. But when you treat the cause…new doors open and amazing things can happen. It’s just a totally different paradigm than western medicine lives in. The great thing about it is that each person gets to choose what paradigm they live in and will see results that reflect their chosen beliefs.
